Refund policy

Overview

Cancel anytime, no retention dance. The 30-day free trial means your first charge is on day 31 — refund windows below run from first charge, not from signup. To start a refund request, email [email protected] from the address on your account.

Premium monthly

• Cancel anytime in /upgrade → Manage subscription. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period — no further charges.
• We do not refund partial months for forgetting to cancel. The cancel button is one click and effective immediately for the next cycle.
• Billing-error refunds: if you were double-charged, charged after cancellation, or charged on a card you didn't authorize, email support and we'll refund pro-rata or full as appropriate, usually within 3 business days.

Premium annual

• 7-day no-questions refund window from your initial annual charge. Inside the window: full refund on request, access ends immediately. Outside the window: pro-rata only for billing errors.
• Renewal charges (year 2+) get the same 7-day window, measured from each renewal date. We email a reminder before each renewal.
• Cancellation outside the 7-day window stops auto-renewal but does not retro-refund the current annual term.

Founder Lifetime

Founder Lifetime is a one-time, perpetual-access purchase sold during the limited launch window. As disclosed at checkout: Founder Lifetime is non-refundable except for billing errors (duplicate charges, unauthorized charges, accidental purchases reported within 48 hours).

We honor consumer-protection laws that override this clause where applicable (EU cooling-off rights for digital services that haven't been performance-started, etc.) — email [email protected].

Mobile in-app purchases (iOS / Android)

Subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google, not by SpellRack. Refund requests for those charges go through the platform:

• iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Android: Google Play refund flow.

We can't refund Apple or Google charges from our side. If your platform refund is denied and you believe it's a billing error on our end, email support and we'll help.

Disputed charges & chargebacks

Please email support before initiating a chargeback. 95%+ of disputes are billing errors or trial-renewal confusion that we can fix in a day. Chargebacks cost us $15 per dispute and take 60+ days to resolve through Stripe — a quick email to [email protected] gets you the same outcome in 24 hours, and we appreciate the courtesy.

If a chargeback is filed and resolved against the user, the associated account may be suspended or terminated under our Terms of Service.
